Mentorships are a space of renewal.
A space of return.
A space where both light and dark are welcome.
Whether you're navigating a threshold, clarifying purpose, shedding an old identity, or in the beginning stages of a long descent, we will work to bring insight into embodiment.
Mentorship: The Art of Renewal
During my time as an independent artist, I have learned first hand the necessity of the death/rebirth cycle when it comes to creative and self renewal. I have come to understand that this process doesn’t just apply to creativity, but to every aspect of life. Whether you’re going through a career transition, personal threshold moment, or have simply arrived at a place in life where “something feels off,” there is an invitation into the unknown.
Something has to fall away in order to make room for the new. All of us, at some point, will be asked to go through at least one major threshold moment during our lives. But many of us shut down in the face of true liminality and the unknown. As an artist and mentor, it is this particular territory of “liminality” that I have devoted myself to understanding.
I am interested in fostering and encouraging deep self trust, authenticity, and creative devotion - regardless of whether or not you’re a working artist.
As a mentor, I use approaches that are depth oriented, embodied, and soul led, pulling from influences such as Jungian psychology, psychological alchemy, nature-oriented spirituality, and research based somatic therapies. I encourage tangible, embodied experiences that lead to an increased sense of aliveness, authenticity, and reconnection with the ground of one’s own being.
What I have seen in my own work, as well as in my work with others, is that as we consciously release and dissolve old adaptations, we make space for what is truly authentic to us. Often this is a process of shedding, dissolving, and composting old stories or somatic patterns that keep us bound. As we learn novel ways to let go of the old, we create space for the birth of something new. In alchemy, this is known as “Solve et Coagula” (dissolve and coagulate). This is the art of cyclical renewal.
This particular path of mentorship is not traditional talk therapy or coaching. In my view, it is more akin to the tradition of psychological alchemy. Which is to say that mentoring - from my perspective - is a process of soul tending. As your mentor, I become both a companion and a witness to this process. Sometimes I will be a mirror, other times I will be a subtle light helping you to navigate the darkness. Along the way, I will support you in cultivating a deeper inner listening - one that reconnects you to your innate intuition and instinct.
The goal with this process is to provide a container where you feel seen, understood, and supported, while creating inner clarity and connection.

FAQs

I work with people who have a strong capacity for self reflection, inner work, and who are ready for an immersive and committed process.
There is a specific kind of readiness that I am looking for in a mentee, which is why the application process is so in depth. I expect a high degree of engagement, both within our sessions and throughout each week if you are participating in the 2 month container.
Many therapeutic models can inadvertently create unconscious dependence, rather than facilitating an experience where internal guidance systems can be brought back online. In this way, the mentorship process is meant to encourage reconnection to your innate, intuitive intelligence. We will spend less time rehearsing old narratives, and more time focusing on bringing insight into embodiment through daily rituals. I will hold a strong mirror of accountability and expect a high degree of embodied participation.
While we will touch on behaviour patterns that stem back to developmental years, it will be assumed that you have a basic understanding of your personal story and belief systems, as well as the ways in which these have influenced you.
If you are applying for the 2 month container, it is required that you are able to set aside a minimum of 1-2 hours a day for activities that are related to the mentorship (One hour in the morning, and one in the evening if possible).
Again, it’s important to state that this is not talk therapy. Your work continues after our sessions together and it will be assumed that you are interested in depth oriented daily practices and somatic exploration.

Depending on the mentorship option you choose, we will either work together once, or four times over two months (via zoom).
If you choose the 2 month container, we will check in via email once every other week in the event that questions arise.
In all sessions the primary focus is spent on bringing insight into embodiment, through the form of daily actions and rituals which deepen integration.
At the end of our final session, you will receive a handwritten pdf summary of reflections, insights, and further direction to continue forward with.
There is also the option to extend the mentorship if you decide that you want to go deeper with ongoing support.
